Background

The mission was to design and execute a digital media promotion plan for the Bangladesh Army. Through digital media, we aimed is to reach out to potential prospects for officer recruitment, and create a positive impression in their minds so that they feel the desire to join the army. But at the same time, as digital media is an open media, the communication material reaches the general populace using the internet as well, which opens up the avenue for branding. Another key aspect was presenting the army as a desirable career option to the influencers of potential candidates, such as parents.

Description

Purplebot Digital executed the digital promotional campaign for Bangladesh Army along with content creation, online targeting, and managing the official Facebook page for the selection of commissioned officers in the army. The goal was to effectively use various digital platforms to craft a compelling strategy and attract the youth to join the heroic Bangladesh Army as officers.

This was the first time that any branch of the armed forces actively took part in digital promotions and it created pathways towards all future digital activities.
