The Purple Philosophy
Purplebot is an amalgamation of the words “Purple” and “Bot”. The color Purple represents something unique, vibrant and special. It is also inspired by the “Purple Cow” concept developed by marketer and entrepreneur Seth Godin that states that companies must build things worth noticing right into their products or services. The “Bot” comes from “robot” that symbolizes our foray into the exciting future of digital media, machine learning and artificial intelligence in marketing.
Surpassing the traditional 4Ps of marketing – Product, Price, Place and Promotion, “Purple” is the new “P”. We not only make our ideas special, We make them Purple!
Our Story
In the beginning, it started with just two people and a desire to tell stories: stories of others. That desire led them to start writing their own story in 2017 which they lovingly titled Purplebot Digital. The two business graduates, Ifteker Mahmud and Ayman Rahman, from IBA, University of Dhaka have come a long way from the tiny one-room space in Lalmatia to being recognized as one of leading digital agencies in Bangladesh. Reaching newer heights with every single story they tell, their purple vision has now turned into a successful fully-fledged integrated communications agency, catering to both international and local organizations through digital and creative support.
While Ifteker always had the entrepreneurial mindset, which helped him tap into his strong managerial skills, Ayman is the creative powerhouse and storyteller who leads the ideation. Together, they envisioned the growing digital market of the country and were keen on figuring out the prospects that came along with it. Soon enough, with the team’s collaborative efforts, Purplebot Digital Limited started gaining recognition from various prominent organizations such as Bangladesh Brand Forum and Commwards. Now with an ever-growing team of 21 people and a deep list of happy clients, the only direction Purplebot Digital is looking is forward.

We are young, creative and we understand digital better than almost anyone in the country. We know how to communicate with the younger demographic (which is now the majority of the population in Bangladesh), because we are part of that demographic. Building and maintaining a team of fresh and young experts was not only a conscious choice for us, it has always been a priority. This however, does not correspond to inexperience. Digital marketing is something that we have honed our skills in since our inception and we are ready to take on any challenge.
