About the Project

iFarmer is a technology company that enables small-scale farmers and Agri Businesses to maximize their profit. The company enable individuals and institutions to fund the capital requirement of the farmers. iFarmer bundles finance with agriculture inputs, advisory services, insurance and market access for the farmers. We use an agriculturally relevant and data-driven model to assess risk and return to develop funding schemes that fit the needs of smallholder farmers and the farm funders. Our work with iFarmer includes social media strategy development, execution, content planning and content development.

Purplebot has been a partner for iFarmer since 2020 and has been supporting their strong social media presence that is driven by quick updates and real-time content delivery. The social media communication has been a cornerstone for communication with the company’s regular clientelle, and has contributed to the growth of the company to earn its place as the highest funded agro-based startup in Bangladesh till date.
